Kim a. rathman, Ph.D.
Kim Alaine Rathman, Ph.D., has more than 30 years of experience in fundraising, organizational development and strategic planning. Dr. Rathman has a doctorate in Ethics and Public Policy from the cooperative program between the Graduate Theological Union and the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York, and an honors diploma in International Law and Policy from the University of Vienna, Austria. She also has taught numerous seminars and workshops in Community Organizing, Nonprofit Administration and Fundraising, as well as academic classes in Economic Ethics, Ethics and Technology, and Ethics and Conflict Resolution.
Gail Scanlan has spent the majority of her career as a nonprofit professional, overseeing a variety of development activities for organizations such as Los Angeles City College Foundation, the Cancer Support Community, Occidental College, Hathaway-Sycamores, and UNICEF USA. Over the course of her career, she has helped secure more than $33.5 million for various nonprofits and academic programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College and is a Past President of their Alumni Board. She joined Pasadena Rotary in 2007 and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
